Building Design

Designed by Patterson Associates, one of New Zealand’s most awarded architecture studios, this project has an understated elegance in its clean lines and linear form. The simple architectural form belies the depth of design, amenity and sustainable measures in this building. Album has the very best in acoustic and fire design; light pollution; security; and smart-automation features.

Album’s sloping site tapers slightly from the northern street front to the southern boundary. The building has been sited hard on the street edge to maximise the outlook to the north, leaving two intimate private courtyards for the rear ground floor units. These charming retreats epitomise the development with their clever use of space and zen-like atmosphere.

‍Dual-key apartment options are also available, creating ultimate flexibility for purchasers whether you're after a home and income, home and office or multi-unit investment.

The apartments in Album are unique in their quality of fitout and exquisite detail. With 2.6m stud, floor-to-ceiling pivot doors and full-width joinery, these perfectly proportioned residences create a sense of space through thoughtful design. The interiors of light timber flooring, crisp white walls and soft sheer curtains provide the ideal minimalist canvas for a peaceful urban haven.

The bathrooms in Album are sublime, evoking feelings of awe and calm at the same time. Black, sculptural Gessi tapware is luxurious and decadent against the soothing white tones of the large-format tiles and porcelain fixtures—creating the perfect place to wash away the world and soak your soul.

Every apartment in Album – from the studios to the penthouse – has a kitchen by international kitchen supplier, Matisse. With timeless design, minimal detailing and monochromatic tones, these kitchens are a vital element in crafting these peaceful, uncluttered, design-led spaces.
